This week at Pyle & Lowell Centers

October 19 • Roger Horowitz will present the UW Madison Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies Kutler Lecture topic, “Is Kosher a Brand?: Ruminations on the intersections of Jewish Law and the Secular Marketplace” at Pyle Center.


October 17 - 21 • Lowell Center hosts the Annual Prolotherapy Conference and Research Symposium sponsored by UW Department of Family Medicine.
October 19 - 20 • Pyle Center will host Multicultural Awareness Program (MAP) which is designed to provide a framework for participants to re ect on and understand the dynamics of our interactions across difference.
             

UW Homecoming Block Party - Friday, October 20th

Parking restrictions and road closures for the UW Homecoming Block Party


No parking will be allowed on the following streets from 4-8pm, and all other vehicles (other than emergency vehicles) must use an alternative route:
  • Wisconsin Avenue between Langdon Street and Gilman Street
  • Gilman Street between Wisconsin Avenue and State Street
  • Lake Street between State street and Mendota Court
  • All of Langdon Street, beginning at 3:30pm
The following streets and intersections will be blocked off its no through traffic from 5:30-7:30pm:
  • 600 block of Wisconsin Avenue
  • 500 and 600 blocks of North Carroll and North Henry Streets
  • 10, 100 and 200 blocks of West Gilman Street
  • 600 and 700 blocks of State Street
  • 500 and 600 blocks of Lake Street
  • Langdon Street between Lake Street and Wisconsin Avenue
