Conference/Meeting Space in Madison Wisconsin
Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Extension Conference Centers (ECC)! Our goal is to provide you with the best site, set-up, and support possible for your upcoming event.
Two facilities, The Pyle Center and The Lowell Center, are located less than a block from each other in the heart of the UW-Madison campus.

The Pyle Center offers meeting space in Madison WI. With more than 135,000 square feet of space, 30 rooms of varying sizes and configurations include: presentation, breakout, and distance education rooms; teaching computer labs; a 95-seat auditorium; dining rooms; lounges; and reception areas for up to 300 people. Offering spectacular views of Lake Mendota, our newly constructed rooftop terrace can accommodate nearly 400 people.
Designed and permanently equipped for originating and receiving distance education programs and teleconferences, distance education rooms at The Pyle Center are some of the most advanced and technologically complete meeting rooms in the region. Through videoconferencing, audioconferencing, webconferencing, webcasting, streaming media, and digital media production, the experienced staff from Instructional Communications Systems can connect people in the room, across the campus, and beyond. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the building.

The Lowell Center is a Madison WI campus hotel with 137 guest lodging rooms. We have:
-seven conference rooms
-elegant reception spaces
-a large dining facility
-swimming pool and sauna
-on-site parking for $8 per person per day(one space per room)
-complimentary parking nearby
We have the capacity to host events for 10 to 400 individuals. Our reasonable rates include an expanded continental breakfast.
The Lowell Center hotel in Madison WI is conveniently located one block from The Pyle Center, and is just as close to vibrant State Street—providing easy access to the best of downtown Madison and UW-campus activities.
Recently remodeled to provide improved accessibility and aesthetics, beautiful new surroundings include completely renovated front-desk, lobby, lounge, and administrative office areas; major upgrades to the Langdon St. entrance featuring a new access ramp and elevator; a convenient new drive-up lane on Frances St. for easy loading and unloading; and an adjacent multi-level parking ramp for overnight guests. Additional improvements are made on a continual basis to ensure that the The Lowell Center best reflects the interests and needs of the customers we serve.
The Pyle Center is open for business from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Events may be scheduled during the evening and on weekends, although a nominal extended-hours fee may apply. The Pyle Center is typically closed when certain national holidays are observed.
The Lowell Center is generally open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with some exceptions during certain holidays.
