Traveling by Car

Located in south central Wisconsin, Madison is just off Interstates I-90, I-94 and I-39.

From the North via Interstate 90/94
(Minneapolis, LaCrosse, Wausau, Stevens Point, Portage): Take I-90/94 to the Highway 151 exit (southwest) going toward the State Capitol. You will exit the highway onto East Washington Avenue, which leads directly to the Capitol Square. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is off the south side of the Capitol Square.  The Monona Terrace is at the end of this street.

From the Northeast via Highway 151
(Green Bay, Fox River Valley): Follow Highway 151 toward the State Capitol. You will end up on East Washington Avenue, which leads directly to the Capitol Square. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is off the south side of the Capitol Square.  The Monona Terrace is at the end of this street.

From the East via Interstate 94
(Milwaukee): As you approach the city, follow Highway 30 into Madison. Take the "State Capitol" exit off of Highway 30, and you will end up on East Washington Avenue, which leads directly to the Capitol Square. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is off the south side of the Capitol Square.  The Monona Terrace is at the end of this street.

From the Southeast via Interstate 90
(Chicago, Beloit, Janesville): Take the Hwy 12&18 (Beltline) exit to Madison. Exit at John Nolen Drive, and follow the signs to Monona Terrace (located on John Nolan Drive).

From the Southwest via Highways 18 & 151
(Dubuque, Platteville, Dodgeville): Take the appropriate exit to Highway 151 going north toward the State Capitol. In Madison, Highway 151 will become South Park Street. Follow Park Street to West Washington Ave. and take a right. West Washington will lead to the Capitol Square. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is off the south side of the Capitol Square.  The Monona Terrace is at the end of this street.

Public Parking

The Monoa Terrace Community and Convention Center operates a parking ramp with 600 spaces. It is accessible by using East Wilson Street or the eastbound lanes of John Nolen Drive.

Several parking garages, surface lots, and on-street parking spaces are also located within a short walk of the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center. Most city and campus lots operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parking for Overnight Guests

Both conference hotels offer parking to hotel guests. Parking needs should be indicated when making room reservations.

Disabled Parking

Generally, drivers with State of Wisconsin disabled permits or DIS and VET plates may park in the disabled parking stalls near the conference centers and at the meters (if over 30 minutes) without paying an additional fee. Customers with special needs are encouraged to contact their meeting coordinator to make appropriate arrangements.
