Walk to Concert on the Square and Picnic Dinner

Rachmaninov Rapsody with Guest Artist, Christina Naughton, piano

A picnic dinner at one of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra's Concerts on the Square is a quintessentially Madison event. Held on the beautiful grounds of the State Capitol each summer for six consecutive Wednesdays, Concerts on the Square is a much loved local tradition. Symposium concert-goers will pick up a picnic dinner and a walking map on their way out of The Pyle Center and then head up to the Capitol Lawn where our volunteers have staked out our group seating area (marked on walking map). We'll listen to the concert, take in the gorgeous setting, and enjoy our picnic dinners.  Walking time from They Pyle Center and/or symposium hotels to The Capitol Square is approximately 15 minutes.

For more information and schedules for the complete season, please visit the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra's website.
