Welcome to Madison and the University of Wisconsin!
The 10th Annual String Phenomenology Conference will be held at the University of Wisconsin, Madison on August 22-26, 2011. The conference venue is the Pyle Center. The conference banquet will be held on Thursday, August 25, and there will be a cocktail reception on Monday evening (see registration).
The goal of String Pheno 2011 is to bring together researchers of diverse subfields in physics and mathematics to present and discuss recent developments in connecting observable particle physics and cosmology with the domain of fundamental theory. The conference includes invited plenary talks as well as two afternoons of parallel sessions. We particularly welcome and encourage the participation of younger researchers.
The conference is held back to back with SUSY 2011, which will take place at Fermilab (about 2.5 hours drive from Madison, Wisconsin) on August 28 to September 2, 2011.
