Overnight guest rooms are located at both The Lowell Center and The Friedrick Center. These two facilities provide not only hotel accommodations, but also conference space and services, making them the ideal places to stay during conferences or other events in Madison. If your event is scheduled at The Pyle Center, we invite you to make arrangements to stay overnight at either of our lodging locations.

The Lowell Inn and Conference Center is a seven-story hotel offering lodging accommodations for conference participants and others. We have 81 guest rooms including one 2-room suite. The Lowell Center is located one block from The Pyle Center, our conference and distance education technology center.

The J.F. Friedrick Inn and Conference Center is located in a quiet setting, but still close to UW campus activities. There are 48 guest rooms, some with lake views. Complementary taxi service is available to The Pyle Center, which is about one mile away. Guest should make a reservation with the front desk.

Important Note: Due to an increasing need for student housing on the UW-Madison campus, the UW Master Plan calls for The Friedrick Center to close on June 23, 2008 when work will begin to transform the building into an undergraduate residence hall. Although overnight lodging will no longer be available at The Friedrick Center, we invite you to use the excellent guest room accommodations at The Lowell Center.

Individuals wishing to make a room reservation may either contact the hotel directly or use our online reservation system.

Our Scheduling Department can reserve blocks of rooms for program planners. Please contact us or fill out our Space Request Form to make initial inquiries. A member of our staff will contact you with further information and responses to your request. Individual room reservations can be made directly with the Inn.
